Every bullet, every death on our
servers is brought to you by the [33rd] War Fund. If you want to show your appreciation and see the mayhem continue on our
many servers, then a small contribution will help the cause.
The [33rd] is very strict on cheating and how we go about preventing it. We are a dedicated cheat free clan. A special Server Police Team has been formed in the [33rd] to patrol and handle issues with cheating. Please report any problems that you see to our forum and we will investigate.
What is cheating?
Cheating is the modification of your game that provides you with a unfair advantage. Or in such a way that it does not reflect real life combat conditions. Cheating can fall under these categories
Bots
It's a program that automatically shoots people in the head or where you tell it too. All they have to do is aim in the general direction of their target and BANG, near enough instantaneous death. Some of the new bots have autofire, so you don't even have to shoot.
Increased Power and Range of Weapons
Mods that increase the weapons beyond of the capabilities of real life weapon. For instance a Rocket launcher with 300 percent explosion
Wallhacks
A mod that lets you see through walls. And provides no real challenge to shoot someone when they come around the corner.
Cheat Skins
Are hacks that make your opponents glow though walls.
Sharking and undermapping
To exploit buggy maps so you find your self undermap or have your self partially exposed.
What to do if you feel someone is cheating?
First of all you don't know if some is really cheating unless you have either 3 pieces of evidence.
A variable log file
This is a file that shows everything in their game that has or hasn't been modified.
Forced Screenshots of the suspected cheaters screen.
This is a screenshot taken by the admin of the other persons screen, so we know what they see. If they have a wallhack we can see it, they need to mail this in.
A Demo of the player.
This is a recording of the suspected player.
Unless you you have either of these 3 pieces of evidence YOU CANNOT SAY THEY CHEAT IN PUBLIC WITHOUT EVIDENCE FROM ABOVE. YOU HAVE NO PROOF.
It will be considered rumor and dismissed.
Email pictures and description of the cheating activity that you see on our server. From there a scan will be made to determine if they are cheating.
These are things that are forbidden
Accusing someone of cheating and broadcasting during game play.
Telling other clans we cheat.
(This is particularly harmful to our clan especially if it is unsubstantiated). If a person is suspected of cheating report it to the squad leader and CO by following the steps above and it will be investigated. If someone is caught cheating it can and usually means termination from the clan and banning from all clan servers.
