Who started this clan and when did it start? And why?
The clan started in September of 2002. 3 players, one day playing Ramagen, decided to form a clan, credit for the
naming the clan goes to Gen Rommel. The other 2 there were Major Kess and Thrillkill. Unfortunately after a few weeks.
Kess disappeared forever. Gen Rommel has been seen lurking here and there on MSN, But time and work means he is
forever inactive and lives on the Honored members page.
The reason the 33rds were name "33rd Waffen SS Charlemagne", was that we wanted to have a branch of the SS that
represented non germans and represented honor, like the men of the real SS did.
After a while Thrill, created the 2nd version of the homepage for the 33rds,the 3rd version is the one that you see now.In October Thrill found a server called serveitup.com. While playing there he met his first recruit. Savage. Then Falcon (a ex 33rd) was the next to join. Savage was the reason the 33rds first grew. JBourne was the next to be recruited. And then we started from there.

Why are there Divisions in this clan?
The [33rd] will be divided into Divisions, we still play as a clan, but sometimes we will play clan games, as some other clans do not have the same numbers as we do.Another reason for Divisions is the the 33rds have grown in numbers and will continue too, so the chain of command exists to keep things in track, like a real military unit would.

If something unfair happens to me or anyone in the clan, can anything be done?
Yes it can, tell your division leader. In most cases, they can help out. For serious cases they will come to the clan leader
to sort out the problem. All problems will be dealt with once all the facts from both sides are established. From there a
fair decision will be made.

Do I have to turn up to practice? If I don't what happens?
All members are expected to come to practice at least once a week. They have 2 practices a week. squad practice and
clan practice. People that do not show, will have their place in future clan games take by those that do. If you can't
make it for because of a valid reason, please email your squad leader. Or post on the forum.

Can I get promoted? And how?
This is a topic that has come up, recently. Promotions will be given based on your results in clan matches. You can be
the best scorer or work well in a team supporting other members in battle. All squad leaders can recommend promotions
to the C.O. if he or she sees outstanding performances from their squad members in battle. In time when the the clan
grows, there will be opportunity for a ranking play to be a squad leader, with a squad of their own. All your efforts do not go unnoticed.Every member has a chance to be promoted. Promotion will mean leading a squad in clan match if the squad leader is absent, or eventually having a squad of your own. The 33rds will grow in numbers. I expect to have at least 60 by the end of the year.

Ways to get promoted are:
Showing to training
Exceptional teamwork or backup
Behavior
Skill improvement
Kills

How can I join your clan?

We here at the 33rd[SS] are committed to fun, fair, organized, and competitive gaming. We have chosen you as a candidate to join our family here. Please take a few minutes to read over the following policy. Wearing our tags means that you agree with this policy, so if you don’t agree, please don’t put on the tags, and let us know so we can remove you from our recruitment lists.

In order to maintain a fair environment:

1.Stock Mohaa. The [33rd] encourages its members to play stock MoH:AA. Members can use mods such as custom skins/scopes, etc.. but this is a use at their own risk. If a member uses a mod that is not in the spirit of fun and fair play then said player may be subject to HQ's disciplinary actions.

2. You must NEVER cheat. This goes without saying. Anyone caught cheating in ANY way will be kicked from the clan and banned from servers permanently.

3. You must install honesty (available from http://www.invisiblewarriors.com). Make sure to set all your parameters correctly. This program allows anti-cheat software to read your game to verify that you are in fact playing clean.

4. You must install and run Missionary and Reverend (both from http://www.invisiblewarriors.com). We use these programs periodically for scrims and matches in leagues. You will be required at some point to prove that they are operational.

In order to maintain a fun environment:

1. You must maintain a healthy and friendly disposition while wearing our tags. Whether on TS, in game, or on MSN, or otherwise: If you are representing us by wearing tags, you are representing us by your behavior. No member of this clan wants to be labeled as a loser because someone wearing our tags acts like a jerk.

2. You must keep it clean. We are PG-13 around here. We have some members who are young and who would have to leave the clan should parents hear verbal slanders, etc. on TS. Please conduct yourself in the same manner you would if your children were around.

In order to maintain and organized environment:

1. You must obey these rules.

2. You must respect the chain of command. We will not order you around, and we do not hold a strong hierarchy. HOWEVER, during official situations and inter-clan relations, ranking officers take precedence. Let ranking members handle situations.

3. You must provide sufficient communications. You must be active on forums and MSN. You can only be included in events that you know about. Keep yourself informed. Forums are kept very active. Everything you will need to know is posted there.

In order to a competitive environment:

1. You must display a high level of skill. You may have seen on our servers a message that says “To be a 33rd, you have to beat a 33rd”. While this is not true in it’s most literal sense, it is true that you must show us that you can be a contributing member of the clan.

2. You must continue to develop your skills. No one is the best at this game. No matter how good you are, there will be someone better somewhere. In fact, I don’t believe anyone truly ever masters this game. It is your duty as a 33rd to strive to be the best player you can, and that means constant COMMITMENT to improvement.Should you accept these rules and wear 33rd[SS]Rec. tags, the following procedures and rules will apply to you.

1. Your recruitment will last no less than 30 days from the time you receive your first welcome e-mail.

2. Your recruitment will last no more than 60 days from the time you receive your first welcome e-mail.

3. You will be required to attend no less than two (2) official clan events (official practices). Official practices are held

3 days a week. Consult schedule in forums for dates/times.

4. After fulfilling requirements 1-3, you will be scheduled for a tryout. Tryouts are uniform for all recruits, and will consist of a number of exercises designed to challenge you. You will also be asked to lead a team via TS.

5. No less than 10 minutes after the completion of your tryout, you will be presented with one of four circumstances. 1) You will be terminated from the recruitment process for insufficient conduct/skills. 2) You will be given a 30-day extension of your recruitment term to work on improving your skills. 3) You will be granted membership at the Pvt. Level, giving you access to all clan events, but not allowed to play in official matches/scrims. 4) You will be granted membership at the LCpl. level after performing at an impressive level of play.Any questions concerning these rules and procedures may be directed to any of the recruitment Staff.

Thanks for Joining.

Are you a west coast based clan? I am not from the west coast. Is that ok?
Are you a west coast based clan? I am not from the west coast. Is that ok?
Yes that is fine we have a few members from he east coast even from England to, we will be forming a new squad
made for non west coast members. They will have training times and matches specially made for their timezone so you
don't have to stay up till 4am to play with the rest of the clan, always.

What can I expect if I pass tryouts?
What can I expect if I pass tryouts?
Well once you pass you will be attached to a squad with a squad leader. Playing in the 33rds is about organized fun.
We will have lots of clan matches to play. Chance to get promoted. Play tournaments and have 35 members backing
you up where every you are. You will have access to all 33rd servers.
The clan plays games and scrimmages as much as possible. You will find yourself representing this clan the moment you
pass.  Also access to the secret section which has been made only for the 33rds.

Um, you guys aren't Nazis out to worship Hitler. Right?
We at the [33rd] want to make it clear that historically the 33rd SS weren't involved in atrocities, they were actually Non
Germans that fought on the front line. They fought and died with honor. I went to great lengths to find a branch of the
german army that did not commit any crimes. They saved villages from rape and plundering from the Russians and had
villagers fighting along side them. Unfortunately there were persecution/crimes by the Totenkopf, Hitlerjugend,
Kampfgruppe divisions of the SS, and we don't condone any of it. Nor do we promote it. I've researched my history
specifically so we don't commemorate these crimes. I have personally been to camps, and have lived in Europe for
years, so I understand what happened. I created the history section so any misconception about 33rd can be clarified.

How are Tags and Ranks set for different games?
Ranks are applied for cross gaming.

Who The Hell Made This Site?
This is a brand new look for the [33rd] that was made in early 2007, It was made by 4 members of the
clan,ThrillKill,Grog,Crow and Bo0N.These members put in tons of work and hours to make
this site possible for the rest of the [33rd] clan and mohaa community to enjoy so they could have
a place to call home. BIG THANKS TO THESE MEMBERS FOR ALL THE HARD WORK AND
LONG HOURS SPENT MAKING THIS HAPPEN!!!
